About Us | Naramata General Store

Family owned and operated since 1979, you’ll meet the owners, Mike & Carole at the Naramata General Store who after long careers in the Vancouver restaurant industry, moved to Naramata with their family in the summer of 2021.

Mike & Carole operate the store with long-time manager Gillian, who has lived in Naramata long enough to be considered a true local, aka a Naramatian.

Whether you live in Naramata full time or enjoy our lovely village for the summer or for a holiday, we hope you will find everything you need and feel right at home at the Naramata General Store.

We are honoured and humbled to have been included in Western Living’s 2022 Foodies of the Year Finalists!

Located in the centre of the Okanagan Valley’s rolling vineyards and orchards, we are able to directly source Naramata Bench wines and seasonal fruit from local farmers. Our shelves are loaded with preserves, pickles, sauces and seasonings from local artisan producers.

Why leave the village? Don’t drive to town! We have everything anything from milk & butter, meats & seafood, fresh salad fixings, beer & wine and even a few toys for the kiddos. You can even get your dog license at the store.

Beyond the basics, we have everything you need for a creative meal with ethically sourced meats and carefully selected seafood. You will find everything you need for an awesome charcuterie platter including local cheese and even freshly baked Terra Bread. And of course the wide selection of wine from BC and beyond, craft beer and local cider.

Our Deli offers hearty sandwiches, house made soups and salads, creamy dips, and perfect provisions for your afternoon in wine country.
